Our Partners

Institutional Partnerships

ROAJELF  collaborates with regional institutions, United Nations entities, bilateral agencies, and international development organizations to advance gender-responsive governance, youth leadership, and inclusive regional development.

Our partnerships are grounded in shared mandates, policy alignment, and structured cooperation frameworks that strengthen implementation across ECOWAS Member States.

Strategic Institutional Collaborations

ROAJELF engages with UN Women to advance gender equality, strengthen women’s political participation, and support implementation of regional and global gender commitments. Collaboration focuses on policy dialogue, leadership development, and institutional capacity strengthening aligned with continental and global gender frameworks.

Engagement with UNOWAS supports regional dialogue on Youth, Peace & Security and inclusive governance. ROAJELF contributes to structured consultations and youth-centered peacebuilding initiatives that reinforce conflict prevention and regional stability across West Africa.

Through collaboration with GIZ, ROAJELF supports initiatives that strengthen institutional systems, economic empowerment, and governance reforms. Areas of engagement include capacity building, policy advisory support, and regional coordination aligned with sustainable development objectives.

ROAJELF partners with Plan International to promote youth leadership, girls’ empowerment, and inclusive participation in governance processes. Joint initiatives focus on strengthening leadership pathways, advocacy platforms, and community-to-policy linkages.

The EMT Foundation

ROAJELF collaborates with The EMT Foundation (Esther Matthew Tonlagha Foundation) on initiatives that advance youth empowerment, women’s leadership, and community-based development across West Africa. The partnership supports structured engagement in areas such as leadership development, social inclusion, and capacity strengthening for emerging female leaders.

Through coordinated programming and shared institutional values, both organizations contribute to expanding access to opportunities for young women and strengthening community-to-policy linkages within the broader regional development framework.
